When Is the Best Time for a Bosphorus Yacht Cruise?
A private Bosphorus cruise can be enjoyed during much of the year.
April and May are particularly pleasant, while September and October often offer some of the most comfortable conditions on the water.
A sunset Bosphorus cruise is also a beautiful option, particularly during the warmer months when the later evening light gives the waterfront, palaces, and Istanbul skyline a completely different atmosphere.
Toward the end of November, Istanbul can become cooler and windier. When we are arranging a multi-day stay, we therefore try to place the yacht cruise on whichever day appears most suitable.
February and March are the months when we are generally more cautious about recommending time on the water. If conditions during your stay look favorable, however, a cruise may still be possible.
